Occupation changes and the €107.50 fee
When an employee moves from one covered role to a different covered role within your establishment, a new occupation-specific Skills Pass is required. Per published guidance, the fee for this is €107.50.
This figure is distinct from the initial registration cost. An employer managing a team with regular internal moves — seasonal reassignments, promotions, role restructures — should budget for this fee separately from the initial onboarding cost per head.

Re-sits and extensions
Official materials describe one free re-sit per assessment. After the first free attempt, additional re-sits are available for purchase at €100 each. Neither of these contingency costs should be treated as rare edge cases. Workers who are unfamiliar with the assessment format, are preparing under time pressure, or are completing the online modules in a second language may need more time or more than one attempt.
